new years resolution: powers of manifestation

new years resolution and the power of manifestation

How often do you make New Years Resolutions? I am sure most of us have made them at least once over the last few years. I remember my mom always telling me to make new year resolutions because she says it’s a great way to evaluate what you want with a fresh and clean slate. That being said, why do we have to make New Year Resolutions? Why don’t we just make decisions for ourselves? Isn’t that much easier? And even if it isn’t, why do we feel obligated to tell other people about them?

What is your New Year’s resolution? Is it something vague or specific?

This year, millions of us will be setting goals for our mental health, our physical health, for ourselves, and our future. This applies especially to those who want to create meaningful positive change in their lives. From becoming fit to quitting smoking, there are plenty of ways to improve your life and wellbeing.

What is a new years resolution?

You might even ask yourself “what is new years resolution?” and why everyone seems to be getting one.

New year’s resolutions are things you want to accomplish at the start of the next year.

It can also be anything you want to do differently for the upcoming year. This could be getting up earlier, eating healthier, exercising more, saving money, learning something new, etc.

The first step is to set goals for yourself, and then plan to complete them during the new year. There is a small percentage of people, however, that follow through with these goals. People normally resolve to achieve their goals at the start of the year and break them when life gets hectic, which happens all too often.

A new year’s resolution can, therefore, often lead to disappointment and sometimes even guilt since they are set with the best intentions but most of the time with unrealistic expectations and therefore not followed through.

So this might lead you to wonder whether you should follow the tried-and-true method of goal setting, or try out new things that might seem risky through a “good new years resolution list”.

If you’re looking to start over or get rid of bad habits, then you may want to take a look at manifestation instead.

So let’s discuss manifestation and how this might be a better way of looking at things that can be implemented not just at the beginning of a new year but whenever, throughout our lives.

What is the meaning of manifestation – is manifestation real?

Manifestation means “to come into existence”.

This relates to our deepest desires and how they can become a physical reality to us. When you want something, you need to believe that such a thing can exist – this is the manifestation process. Then, you must align yourself with the energy of such existence. By doing so, all things begin to happen for you automatically.

How does this apply to manifesting your dream life?

If you want to manifest something, you need to clearly define it. So you need to know exactly what you want, but some of us don’t know ourselves well enough yet. Therefore, we only have hazy ideas as to what we want. Our minds aren’t able to give us an exact description.

For example, if you want your relationship with someone to change, you cannot just hope it changes on its own.

You will only get what you ask for if you consciously connect yourself to the energy of what you want. This is why many people want love in their life but do not get any. They fail to manifest that because they were not connected to the energy of love itself.

To overcome this mental block of not knowing ourselves well enough, use the laws of attraction manifestation to help you clarify what you want. Simply state whatever you think about even though you still don’t fully understand what you want – through affirmations. Do it every day.

The Law Of Attraction states that you attract whatever is most important for you to have right now through positive thinking. If you are not connecting yourself to what you want, then your manifestation will be very limited. To be truly successful at attracting money, one needs to feel abundant. The person who feels that he or she does not need anything will struggle to manifest what they truly need. to want.

It works on the premise of “you are what you think” and our thoughts cause us to take action in a certain way. When we start to think enough about something we start to truly believe it and then embody it in our physical action. We, therefore, welcome this thing we deeply desire into our lives by putting the thought out into the universe. If we can concentrate on thinking about what we desire most we can think it into action and therefore existence.

This is the law of attraction – you can attract what you desire if you fully believe in it.

Below are some actionable manifestation examples that we can say to ourselves every day.

Affirmations begin in your body.

An affirmation such as, “I am worthy,” isn’t just about stating your worthiness. It’s about feeling worthy.

The quickest way to manifest anything into your life is to feel the emotions of your desired manifestation right now.

So if you want to manifest love, then feel deep, unconditional love within. If you want to manifest success, feel successful. If you want to manifest abundance, feel abundant today.

Because at their foundation, that’s what these are affirmations are truly about.

Feel the positive emotions of these affirmations within, and you will begin to see this positivity reflected in your external world.

65 Positive Affirmations for Manifestation

5 ways to manifest your desires – best manifestation method

1. Be clear about your desires

You should know exactly what you want before manifesting. You must be very clear about what you want. Your desires must be detailed and not vague. Don’t say ‘I want to have money.’ Say, ‘I want to earn 50% more than I am earning now”.

2. Ask and then write it down

Ask the Universe for your goals. Pray, meditate, visualize, speak them out loud, make a vision board, etc. Once you have done that write your dreams and desires down on paper so they can be seen visually too which makes them tangible and real. Do you want to manifest your dream job? Be specific and write down what that would look like. It might be helpful to have a manifestation journal that is dedicated to everything you want to create in your life.

3. Take action

Manifester Gabrielle Bernstein says that Manifesting is also known as Co-Creating because it’s a collaboration with the universe. She says that you need to set aside some time to think about what you want, but you won’t see any results without taking action. A great way to do this is to ask yourself “What would my future self be thinking once I have achieved this desire” and then act accordingly. The action you take will be from the standpoint that you already have what you desire. For example, if you desire unconditional love act the way you would if you have it and be more loving.

4. Surrender to the process

To achieve success and overcome negative thinking or negative experiences, you must change your mindset and behaviors. Remove any obstacles or limiting beliefs that may cloud your vision towards reaching your goals. This might be in the form of self-doubt, lack of confidence/worth or just feeling silly doing it. Tell yourself you are great and fully believe in what you are manifesting! Write down anything that might be holding you back and replace any negative feelings with positivity. If you are feeling “I don’t think this will work” switch it to “Everything has worked out for me in the past and therefore it will in the future”.

5. Be aware of the energy you are putting out there

Energy is everything. If you’re constantly putting out negative energy, you’ll be attracting the same energy back to you. However, if you can raise your vibration, you’ll attract more positive energy into your life.

Lifting your energy is not always that easy but it is the first step to creating a happier life! You should start by focusing on activities that make you happy so that you can be in positive energy and use that as a foundation to build more positive energy. Think about what you want to feel – if you want more love in your life think about how you can show more love to others. When you decide how you want to feel, you can then practice being that way.

Trusting your actions, visions, or certainty that they will become true is very important. You must trust yourself and believe in your abilities. This faith is what drives you to succeed.

What is the point of setting new years resolutions?

New year’s resolutions can be helpful to some but often they are fueled by “blanket wants” that aren’t specific to you and more often influenced by what society deems desirable. It, therefore, takes a lot of motivation and effort to take action because it isn’t coming from an authentic place that will serve you.

The one positive aspect, however – it opens us up to retrospection* and allows us to take account of how our previous year went and what we would like to welcome more of or less of into the next year.

Retrospection is a very important step to making change as it leads to introspection** and this is when we truly become aware of what we want out of life and start to manifest it.

*Retrospection definition:

Retrospection is the process of examining past events to determine what worked and what didn’t work. This is important for making better decisions in the future. A retrospection synonym would be to reexamine or reevaluate.

**Introspection defintion:

Introspection means looking at yourself from different perspectives. Introspective thinking helps you understand what actions and decisions in life were right for you and why they ended up wrong. The process of introspection also helps you learn how you can change your future.

Manifestation quotes

“Ask for what you want and be prepared to get it.” – Maya Angelou

“Once you make a decision, the universe conspires to make it happen.” – Ralph Waldo Emerson

“The law of attraction is impersonal. You don’t have to become perfect to deserve something.” – Sylvia Salow

“Stop waiting for somebody to elevate your game. You are already equipped with everything you need to manifest your own greatness.” – Germany Kent

“Every single second is an opportunity to change your life because in any moment you can change the way you feel.”  – Rhonda Bryne

“Imagination is everything. It is the preview of life’s coming attractions.” – Albert Einstein

“Whatever image your mind clings to will tend to replicate itself in your real world.” – Mary Morrissey

So all in all new years resolutions can be a great way to invite change into your life but it does not mean you only have to reflect on this change once a year. Through manifestation, one can truly create positive change in your life in a long-lasting and transformational way. In a way that isn’t superficial but rather deeply authentic to what you want to achieve.

Manifestation can be done at any time and all the time and by doing this instead of trying to fulfill your new year’s resolution you take the pressure off and welcome in a lot more fulfillment in your life.

The next time somebody asks you what your new year’s resolutions are tell them “I am manifesting my deepest desires.”

So what are you manifesting for this year and beyond?
